And what great news that would be – our talismanic striker has apparently said he’s staying. Absolutely chuffing great.

Got back yesterday evening, deflated but very, very proud. We put in a valiant performance, a superb team performance, but the whole 10 v 11 thing did for us in the end.

Superb stadium, the rapport between the fans was fantastic, and it was a brilliant day.

I’ll write a big lowdown tomorrow, but until then, savour the news.
