I’m up at sparrowfart tomorrow, and four of us are off in an extremely large 4×4 to Dover (all the better for going round the Arc de Triomphe if you ask me). Then it’s all the way to Paris armed with the two essentials for a road trip: fresh pair of scuds and toothbrush. Oh, and the tickets. Don’t forget the tickets.
